This recipe is supplied by our friends at Transport Hotel Bar in Federation Square Melbourne
1 litre jug of cider
400ml cloudy apple juice
230ml alcoholic cider
500ml Buderim Ginger Original Ginger Beer (2 cans)
60ml dark rum
1 cinnamon stick
2 star anise
1 generous tablespoon of maple syrup
Juice of 1/2 a lime
1) Place the wet ingredients into a sauce pan on high heat.
2) Add the cinnamon stick and star anise.
3) Bring all ingredients to a boil and then reduce to a simmer
with the lid on for 15 minutes.
4) Pour into serving glasses (ones with a handle is
recommended) and garnish with a cinnamon stick.
