Recipe Apple Ginger Walnut Bircher Muesli

Mix up your mornings with this Apple, Ginger & Walnut Bircher Muesli. This mix is quick and simple to make, full of healthy ingredients and is made the night before which means you same time in the morning.

Prep Time

10 minutes (+ overnight soaking)





  • 2 Granny Smith apples
  • 4 pieces Buderim Ginger Naked Ginger, finely chopped
  • 2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp pumpkin seeds
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 cups coconut milk
  • 2 tsp maple syrup


  • 1 tbs walnuts
  • 1 tbs pumpkin seeds
  • 2 tsp maple syrup
  • 1 granny smith apple


  1. Grate two apples into a large bowl.
  2. Add remaining muesli ingredients, cover, and leave to soak overnight in the fridge.
  3. Toast walnuts in a frying pan, add maple syrup, remove from heat once coated and sticky.
  4. Cut apple into matchsticks
  5. Divide muesli between 4 bowls, top with apple, walnuts, and pumpkin seeds
