Buderim Ginger Limited advises that Mrs Doris Crerar has retired from her role as company director effective 28 February 2005. The company wishes to acknowledge the wealth of knowledge and experience that Mrs Crerar has brought to the board room since her election by shareholders in February 2002. Her contribution to optimizing the company's production activities and product quality, is acknowledged by the board and management. Directors are pleased to announce that Mr John Roy has been appointed as a director effective 28 February 2005 to fill the casual vacancy created by Mrs Crerar's retirement. Mr Roy is currently Managing Director of several family owned businesses, including Big Sister Foods, Fowlers Vacola and George & Simpson. His experience in the Australian and global food industry, particularly in the branded speciality arena, will be of considerable benefit to the company. Mr Roy is based in Melbourne and has an engineering background and an extensive career in the plastics industry as a senior executive of a major Australian listed company. |
