Mulled Cider

Keep cosy with this truly tasty Mulled Cider recipe. This tipple is fruity and flavoursome with a nice little ginger kick!

1 jug of mulled cider
400ml cloudy apple juice
230ml of alcoholic cider
500ml Original Buderim Ginger Beer
60ml dark rum
1 cinnamon stick
2 star anise
1 generous table spoon of maple syrup
Juice from half a lime

1. Place the wet ingredients into a sauce pan on high heat.
2. Add the cinnamon stick and star anise.
3. Bring all ingredients to a boil and then reduce to a simmer
with the lid on for 15 minutes.
4. Pour into serving glasses (ones with a handle is
recommended) and garnish with a cinnamon stick.
