The Inside Story takes your students through the ginger industry, start to  finish, from inside the factory. Planting and harvesting, processing and packing and then exporting to the world. Sixty years of history and some of the most advanced processing techniques that lead to the finest ginger in the world. Key Learning areas include Science (Natural and Processed Materials, Energy and Change), Technology (Systems, Technology Practice, Materials) and SOSE (Time continuity and change). |

Overboard transports students by boat through 16 different cultural and geographical zones of the world. The attraction has more than 200 fully animated puppets which comically bring to life the story of the Ginger Bread Man and his escape from two persistent cooks. Key learning areas include The Arts (Design and Performance), SOSE (Culture and Identity), Technology (Systems and materials) and English (Narrative and Script writing). |

The Ginger Factory also offers 3 comprehensive outcomes based programs to complement your visit. These programs have been designed by Sunshine Coast teachers and come complete with detailed elaborations and anticipated outcomes. Each program integrates concepts from Science, Technology, SOSE, English and The Arts and can be easily modified to suit different class levels.
